WE EMPOWER YOUNG WOMEN IN OUR COMMUNITY

Girls Inc. Westchester is a non-profit organization founded in 2007. We are a local affiliate of Girls Incorporated, a 150-year old national organization with over 85 chapters in the U.S. and Canada.

We’re dedicated to creating girls-only programs that equip young women with essential knowledge and skills. We provide a place for them to feel physically and psychologically safe, and a peer group that helps them feel emotionally supported, confident, and bold.

WE FOCUS ON THE WHOLE GIRL

Girls Inc. Westchester programs are targeted toward girls ages 9 to 18 with a focus on the middle and high school years. We meet our girls during the developmentally crucial stages when having a girls-only space to share, build confidence, and interact with positive role models can make all the difference. By helping girls to think critically about the world, avoid at-risk circumstances, confront and overcome challenges, and envision their own potential, Girls Inc. Westchester gives our girls the promise of a brighter future.

IF YOU STEP UP, SO DOES SHE

Make a difference in your community by making a difference in her life. We have ongoing volunteer opportunities both in-office and in our Girls Inc. Westchester programs.

Regardless of your age, profession, or personal background, you can share your gifts with our girls by sharing your time.
